Action ontarienne contre la violence faite aux femmes (AOcVF)

Published purpose

This 57-month project will will address organizational capacity needs to allow the organization and its members to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: a review of its governance structure and its membership, strategic planning, human resources management and the creation of a partnership strategy to improve collaboration between AOcVF, its members and its partners. In addition, this project will increase the capacity of Francophone organizations in Ontario through the development of a collective advocacy strategy. The additional funding for 2023 will be used to evaluate the financial health of AOcVF organizations and member groups and to diversify funding sources. AOcVF will also use these funds to develop recruitment and communication strategies they can share with member groups. These activities will further strengthen the abilities of the organization and its member groups.
