Published purpose

This 57-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow Huronia Transition Homes to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the development of a long-term sustainable financial plan that includes a social enterprise model; a comprehensive redesign of internal financial reporting systems; and the implementation of a program evaluation structure. The supplemental funding will be used for an anti-racism audit, as well as the shift to an electronic client management database for increased internal efficiency and analytics. The supplementary funds in 2023 will be used by the organization to a) develop implementation plans for existing social enterprise strategies, b) revise the organization’s by-laws and c) to improve their results-based management framework, including program evaluation through the development of theory of change and logic models.
