Réseau-femmes du sud-ouest de l'Ontario (RFSOO)

Published purpose

This 58-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the Réseau-Femmes du Sud-Ouest de l'Ontario (RFSOO) to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through: improved governance, strategic and succession planning, implementation of result based management; organizational financial health and sustainability plan. The supplemental funding provided in 2021 will be used to hire support staff; to train staff on integrating information and communication technology into the workplace; to obtain an online counselling system; and to redesign the www.rfsoo.ca website to adapt the organization to the virtual world. The 2023 supplemental funding will be used to implement a comprehensive results-based management system that addresses new post-pandemic needs and emerging challenges; staff and board members will be trained on using the new system. In addition, the harmonization of other previously established systems and tools will be done to ensure the collection of information necessary for decision making.
