Published purpose
This 60-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow North York Women's Shelter to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced with a focus on the strengthening of all Human Resources' policies and procedures, through a trauma-informed policy approach, including recruitment, training and development, performance management, as well as health and safety policies. Supplemental funding in 2023 will be used to develop and launch an organizational strategic plan that supports a trauma-informed approach to service delivery.
