Published purpose

This 56-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the Windsor Women Working with Immigrant Women to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the development of governance and risk management policies and procedures; strategic planning; the development of a fundraising strategy that includes a financial sustainability plan; and a stakeholder engagement and communications/partnership strategy. In addition, human resource practices and leadership will be enhanced through the development of a collective agreement and a language/interpretation development plan. The 2020 supplemental funding will be used for the development of a cyber security strategy and a sustainability plan, upgrading the organization’s website and governance policy handbook as well as reviewing pay equity. The 2023 supplemental funding will be used to build organizational capacity to affect change through the development of women and racialized advocacy strategies incorporating GBA+ framework as well as the development of organizational policy to better address collective initiatives.
