Published purpose

This 58-month project aims to build organizational capacity to enable the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be strengthened through the following activities: fostering partnerships, collaborations, and networking; implementing results-based management; and diversifying the organization’s funding sources through technological improvements. In addition, the project will increase organizational capacity to keep the organization stable and up-to-date with technological developments that can help it effectively serve its clients to pursue its mandate, which is to promote science and technology among young girls from disadvantaged neighbourhoods in order to address school dropout rates and poverty among women. The 12-month extension and additional funding will allow the organization to develop and mobilize its human resources and implement tools to meet its privacy obligations.
