Published purpose

This 56-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: board governance, partnership development, collaboration and networking, development of an advocacy strategy, human resources management and communication. It will also build sector capacity through the development of collaborative tools and opportunities to work collectively to affect change for women in Saskatchewan. Supplemental funding will be used to develop a strategic plan that commits to principles of inclusion, diversity, anti-racism and decolonization. Sexual Assault Services of Saskatchewan will also develop an associate membership framework and increase participation in intergovernmental policy development by forming a Sector Coalition with key partners including Saskatchewan Health Authority and the RCMP.
