Yukon Status of Women Council

Published purpose

This 58-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: development and implementation of a strategic plan, which will encompass human resources management, board governance, partnership development, collaboration and networking, and a financial health and suitability plan. This territorial project seeks to advance gender equality by enabling the Yukon Status of Women Council to better influence and connect across the North and Canada more broadly. Supplemental funds will be used to build organizational capacity to affect change through the development of an advocacy strategy and implementation of results-based management processes and systems to improve performance measurement, risk management, and evaluation.
