Espace LGBTQ+

Published purpose

Through this 41-month project, Espace LGBTQ+ will strengthen the capacity and networks of 2SLGBTQI+ community organizations to advance 2SLGBTQI+ equality. The project will focus on defining the organization’s strategic vision for the next years, inclusion for marginalized LGBTQ+ communities, and optimizing the organization’s communication tools and financial resources. The project will include developing a strategic plan, a communications strategy, and a philanthropic strategy to better meet the needs expressed by Espace LGBTQ+ member organizations while fostering connections, sharing, and dialogue among these organizations. With the supplemental funds and extension provided in early 2026, Espace LGBTQ+ will put into action and operationalize its philanthropic strategy in order to increase its collective impact and better position the organization to serve 2SLGBTQI+ communities, and produce resources promoting an inclusive and co-responsible culture. Through this, they will further advance gender equality.
