Published purpose

Through this 37-month project, the Prince George and District Elizabeth Fry Society will increase its organizational capacity to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. The Elizabeth Fry Society will achieve this by conducting an organizational financial health scan and implementing fundraising strategy and sustainability plan. The organization will also develop a diversity, equity and inclusion plan, strategic plan, formalize advocacy strategy, develop an extensive library of manuals which will include updates to their policies and procedures manuals. This will strengthen the foundation of the organization. With the supplemental funds and extension period in early 2026, the Prince George and District Elizabeth Fry Society will implement recommendations from systems audit; develop job specific manuals, flowcharts and templates; provide two companywide DEI trainings, implementing recommendations from external DEI survey and updating policies and procedures; implement psychological safety recommendations; develop a strategic plan flyer and templates; and develop onboarding and offboarding guides. Through this they will further advance Gender Equality.
