Published purpose

Through this 24-month project, L’Anonyme U.I.M. will develop and implement the Interstice Project, which includes a set of intervention practices tailored to the specific realities of youth vulnerable to and/or victims of sexual exploitation. This initiative aims to strengthen the gender-based violence (GBV) sector by developing promising practice as alternative interventions that are accessible to youth vulnerable to and/or victims of sexual exploitation and that are supported by peers who have survived sexual exploitation. The project will include individual and group interventions aimed at developing agency among the youth by supporting them throughout the process and creating a security network. The team will help victims and survivors access the support measures by attending their meetings and offering group activities in a mobile unit adapted for this purpose. In addition, an external assessment will measure and assess the impacts of their promising practices and what they learned. Through its partnerships and networks, L’Anonyme U.I.M. will participate in various GBV consultation and clinical exchange forums to promote the sharing of expertise and help reproduce or grow its initiative.
