Young Women's Christian Association of Moncton (YWCA Moncton)

Published purpose

Through this 32-month project, YWCA Moncton will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address outdated finance management processes, tackle the critical need to diversify revenue, and embed evaluation within all areas of service and program provision. It will also ensure that all relevant stakeholders’ contributions are included. The project will include the implementation of finance process improvements to support expansion and development, IT enhancements, and the adoption of a Results Based Management framework, which will better equip YWCA Moncton to sustain and expand services to accurately respond to growing community needs. With the supplemental funding and extension provided in 2026, YWCA Moncton will undertake a comprehensive modernization and integration of its workforce and volunteer management infrastructure. This initiative aims to strengthen governance oversight, streamline operational processes, and support the organization’s ongoing strategic growth. Through this they will further advance Gender Equality.
