Women That Give

Published purpose

Through this 32-month project, Women That Give will build its capacity to advance gender equality by addressing the needs of racialized and marginalized women who have been affected by GBV directly or indirectly. They will do this by engaging women with lived experience to identify programming gaps and needs, and then developing a fundraising plan that responds to these needs - to support the organization in obtaining the resources required to provide the services and opportunities for the women in their community. With the Supplemental funds and extension provided in early 2026, Women That Give will review and update their communication strategies tools, templates, and resource guide, while also developing recommendations on policy and programs for marginalized women, and women affected by GBV directly or indirectly. Through this they will further advance Gender Equality.
