Project Hostel o/a Yellow Brick House

Published purpose

Through this 32-month project, Yellow Brick House will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address the need to foster an inclusive and empowering workplace through a diversity, equity and inclusion-based lens. The project will include a needs assessment of staff and volunteers, the development of customized training and coaching strategies, the implementation of a feedback system, a review of existing policies and procedures, the creation of mental health supports, the establishment of working committees and the creation of a staff development plan. With the Supplemental funds and extension provided in early 2026, Yellow Brick House will increase their organizational sustainability by researching and adopting a new financial management system, client management system, donor CRM system, and strengthening their information technology and volunteer management practices. Through this they will further advance Gender Equality.
