Menopause Matter

Published purpose

Through this 32-month project, Menopause Matter will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address gaps in internal governance and decision-making systems and fundraising capacities. The project will create a leadership and mentorship program, increase organizational capacity to diversify funding streams, strengthen sectoral relationships, and integrate Gender Base Analysis Plus (GBA+) training into the operations of the organization. With the Supplemental funds and extension provided in early 2026, Menopause Matter will 1) strengthen strategic Francophone and national partnerships, 2) increase accessibility through multilingual and inclusive resource development, 3) increase its national presence with coordinated knowledge mobilization initiatives, and 4) strengthen internal systems for research, funding, and communications. Through this they will further advance Gender Equality.
