Published purpose

Through this 32-month project, Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address the current and emerging needs and compounding issues facing girls, transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse youth in the community. The project will include conducting an environmental scan, developing a strategic plan, creating a measurement scorecard to evaluate progress, and establishing a comprehensive and integrated digital data management system. With the Supplemental funds and extension provided in early 2026, Big Sisters BC will modernize financial systems and conduct quality assurance review. Through this, they will further advance Gender Equality.
