Published purpose

Through this 33-month project, Fort St. John Women’s Resource Society will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address the organization’s need to plan their direction for upcoming years and strengthen their internal human resources, financial and evaluation practices. The project will include developing an organizational development plan focused on human resources, financial sustainability, and internal evaluations. The project will also engage Board and staff in a Strategic Planning process to build a roadmap for the organization. With the Supplemental funds and extension provided in early 2026, the Fort St. John Women’s Resource Society will build the capacity of organization’s operational policies and practices and strengthen the Board’s governance capacity. Through this they will further advance Gender Equality.
