We Worthy Women

Published purpose

Through this 32-month project, We Worthy Women will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address the lack of current core funding, work to build more effective organizational structure and governance, and solidify processes and partnerships to sustain long-term social impact in the community. The project will include developing a corporate sponsorship strategy, increasing proposal writing capacity, improving board governance, and developing bylaws and policies. It will also grow partnerships, improve processes for project and people management, and create a strategic plan and an evaluation framework to measure impact. With the supplemental funds and extension provided in early 2026, We Worthy Women will reevaluate the needs and capacity of the board of directors to enhance organizational governance and administrative processes. They will also formalize strategic partnerships to support project and funding development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while addressing gaps in the GBV sector. In addition, they will measure and share impact to ensure activities remain effective and consistent with their values and strategy. Through this they will further advance Gender Equality.
