Published purpose
Through this 26-month systemic change project, Heritage Skills Development Centre will help advance women’s economic security and prosperity through systemic change. Specifically, the project will address systemic barriers faced by women at the workplace, by conducting a needs assessment, developing trainings and resources to detect and eliminate harmful gender stereotypes, microaggressions and harassment at the workplace, and disseminating them to employers and employees. Further, the organization will conduct community dialogues with policy makers, advocates, employers, and employees to identify best practices and policies to stop these microaggressions and harassment in the workplace. An external evaluator will measure and assess the impact of the systemic change project.
