Published purpose
Through this 33-month systemic change project, Sistering A Woman’s Place will help advance women’s economic security and prosperity through systemic change. Specifically, it will address the knowledge gap regarding women and gender-diverse peer workers’ experiences and provide a Roadmap for how organizations can modify their practices to create equitable employment. This will be accomplished by developing a community of Practice, conducting a literature review of peer work, carrying out an environmental scan, setting up focus groups, interviews; performing data analysis, hosting a Peer Forum event , developing an equitable peer employment framework, and providing a Roadmap for employers to help them change harmful policies. An external evaluator will measure and assess the impact of the systemic change project.
