Femme moderne influente

Published purpose

Through this 29-month project, the Femme Moderne Influente association will build its capacity to advance gender equality. Project activities will build the organization's capacity to improve its service delivery to Black immigrant women in Edmonton who are Francophones. The project will involve assessing the organization's needs; developing the governance infrastructure; implementing operational policies, a financial management system, and a marketing plan; and evaluating the organization's strategic plan. Thanks to the additional funding and the extension granted at the beginning of 2026, the Association Femme Moderne Influente will modernize and digitize its website and digital tools, create a platform for managing its members and activities, and improve its communication and digital mobilization tools. This project to modernize and digitize organizational resources will enable the Association to improve its internal coordination, its communications with its members and partners, and its capacity to support women's empowerment initiatives. By doing so, the organization will contribute further to the advancement of gender equality, particularly for Black Francophone women living in Edmonton.
