Collectif des femmes immigrantes du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean

Published purpose

Through this 29-month project, the Collectif des femmes immigrantes du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean will build its capacity to advance women’s equality. It will address the organization’s need to improve its capabilities in coordination, organizational management, and communications management. The project will include boosting the Collectif’s representation, networking, and collaboration with community organizations; developing a strategic plan; creating a website; and holding training to build Collectif members’ skills. Thanks to the additional funding and the extension granted at the beginning of 2026, the Collectif des femmes immigrantes du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean will implement member mobilization and governance structures, strengthen fundraising and income diversification capabilities, deploy an integrated communication and regional outreach strategy and enhance research, documentation and analysis capacities on the priority needs and issues of immigrant women in the region. By doing so, the organization will contribute further to the advancement of gender equality.
