Build a Dream to Empower Women

Published purpose

Through this 22-month project, Build a Dream will build its capacity to advance gender equality for women on a national scale. It will address gaps in strategic planning for national expansion, barriers to effective partnerships, needs for diversified funding, challenges in leveraging technology for operational efficiency, and the pressing issues faced by women in achieving equality. The project will include: developing and implementing a strategic plan for national growth; building and enhancing regional and national partnerships to amplify impact; securing diverse funding sources to ensure financial stability; and, engaging directly with women to understand and address challenges to equality by subsequently refining and adjusting program design. With the supplemental funds and six-month extension provided in early 2026, Build a Dream will enhance and build upon its previous capacity-building efforts by further strengthening internal operations, institutionalizing regional and national partnerships, and reinforcing its funding diversification infrastructure. Through these complementary initiatives, the organization will be better positioned to ensure stable governance, accountable financial oversight, and diversified revenue streams that support long-term impact.
