Published purpose

Through this 30-month project, Salal Sexual Violence Support Centre Society will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address the continued stigmatization of sexual violence (SV) and gaps in SV advocacy. The project will include the development and integration of a storytelling toolkit in the organization’s communications materials to support the facilitation of discussions about sexualized violence and the updating of HR processes and systems to support organizational growth and sustainability. With the Supplemental funds and extension provided in early 2026, Salal Sexual Violence Support Centre will develop financial sustainability and revenue diversification infrastructure, develop formal leadership succession framework and will modernize organizational policies to respond to rapidly evolving technologies. Through this, they will further advance Gender Equality.
