Published purpose

Through this 26-month project, Pride Calgary Planning Committee will address the needs and barriers to equality for 2SLGBTQI+ communities. This will be achieved by conducting a diversity intersection analysis on survey data to understand the comfort levels of 2SLGBTQ+ individuals with the Calgary Police Service, organizing town hall events for community dialogue and feedback, and developing recommendations for enhancing inclusivity in policing practices. Expected results include increased understanding of community perspectives, sustainable collaborative efforts to strengthen trust between the 2SLGBTQ+ community and law enforcement, and providing actionable recommendations for promoting safety and inclusivity for all residents of Calgary
