Published purpose
The objective of the project is a highbush blueberry farm. We sell up to 25% of our production directly to the public each summer through our on-farm store. This year (because of covid19) we will be delivering pre-packed blueberries directly to customers' vehicles (so they will not leave their vehicle). This means that we will require additional staff to process orders, assist customers and maintain positive public relations. The interns will learn hygiene protocols, inventory control, product management and customer service skills.
