Published purpose
This project aims to strengthen multisectoral capacities in lusophone Africa to prevent and detect biological threats, whether natural, accidental, or deliberate, and to respond to them. It supports the flagship initiative to mitigate biological threats in Africa (SIMBA). Project activities include: (1) developing training tools and essential documents for biosafety, biosecurity, and biological risk management; and (2) organizing specialized workshops in Portuguese in certain lusophone African countries.
