Published purpose
The objective of this project is to allow more accurate and easier adoption of assurance programs by enhancing and linking information management systems for farmers and agri-food businesses. Such systems are critical as business owners strive to meet emerging standards aimed at providing consumers with verifiable claims about products including attributes and production protocols. Solid documentation is key to building and maintaining consumer confidence and, more broadly, public trust in the agri-food sector.
