Published purpose

The Ukraine Energy Support Fund is a multi-donor platform established in 2022 to counteract the impact of Russian attacks against critical energy infrastructure. This project seeks to improve the resilience of Ukrainians to energy shocks so that they can benefit from stable access to electricity, water, and heating. Project activities include: (1) procuring and delivering energy equipment such as transformers, generators, switches, compressors, pipes, and other materials required for repairing damaged energy infrastructure; and (2) procuring and delivering rooftop solar systems with energy storage, back-up energy systems and fuel to hospitals, clinics, or other critical health infrastructure to allow them to continue delivering essential services during power outages.
