Published purpose

This project supports the United Nations Mission in Cyprus to conduct a series of household surveys and focus group discussions over 3 years. The polling exercises aim to support the ongoing efforts of the Mission to provide evidence-based research data to gain a greater understanding of the fears, hopes, and attitudes of Cypriots on both sides of the divide. This enhanced understanding seeks to inform the United Nations Mission in Cyprus reporting to UN headquarters and the Security Council. Also, it seeks to allow better design of engagement and communication strategies with local and international community representatives to help contribute to finding a sustainable solution to the ongoing Cyprus issue.
