Published purpose
The objective of this project is to rescue food from farms, warehouses, grocers, and food companies where it is in excess. Of this excess, foods that are in good quality are rerouted to families across Halton and Hamilton who are food insecure and remaining food that would otherwise reach landfill, is composted.
