Published purpose

This project aims to enhance security and inclusion for women in Ukraine, particularly from marginalized groups, through increased participation in decision-making processes and gender-responsive security initiatives. Project activities include: (1) providing training to members of regional 1325 coalitions (UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security) and other local and national stakeholders on holistic security, advocacy, grassroots cohesion, and women’s participation in security-related processes; (2) providing training to women leaders, especially those from marginalized groups, on the Women, Peace and Security agenda and leadership; (3) supporting the participation of women-leaders working on Women, Peace and Security in international peace process events and platforms; (4) supporting regional 1325 coalitions to contribute to the development of the National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security for 2026-2030; and (5) providing grants to regional 1325 coalitions to support the implementation of regional action plans.
