Published purpose

With DFATD’s support, ADRA is providing gender, age and disability-responsive mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) services, alongside the distribution of environment-friendly winter kits to 56,858 (55% women, 15% girls, 25% men, 5% boys) rightsholders with intersecting vulnerabilities (including women, men, ex-combatants, children and people with disabilities). Project activities include: (1) providing age and gender responsive and inclusive MHPSS according to culturally accepted norms; (2) facilitating community-based MHPSS and peer support groups that are inclusive and responsive to different ages and genders; (3) providing gender training and awareness to staff and communities; and (4) distributing environment-friendly winter kits to households and providing training on environment-friendly energy use.
