Published purpose
The objective of this project is for the purchase of a refrigerated transport truck and the retrofitting of one of the applicant’s existing trucks to add refrigeration capabilities. The objective of this project will allow the applicant to sustain the distribution of food, on an ongoing weekly basis, to 11 additional food banks by distributing approximately 100,000 lbs of fresh food and 200,000 lbs of frozen food per year.
