Published purpose

This project aims to support the delivery of the 2025 Plenary Meeting of the Global Chemical Congress on Chemical Security and Emerging Threats, taking place from 5 to 9 May 2025 in Amman, Jordan. The project also seeks to support additional activities under the Global Congress banner, including 2 regional peer-to-peer exchange workshops for sub-Saharan Africa and 2 webinars focussed on the use of AI in chemical security and capacity building tools and resources for chemical security. The 2025 Plenary meeting is expected to bring up to 400 experts from up to 120 Interpol member countries under the theme of ‘chemical security in an evolving world’. Participants examine key threats and trends and the Global Congress plenary provides a platform for experts to exchange knowledge, best practices, and cutting-edge solutions for chemical security.
