Published purpose
This project aims to further address the ongoing impact of gun violence on youth in Vieux Fort in Saint Lucia facing challenges such as trauma, grief, and disrupted education due to violence-related losses. The project aims to restore their emotional and academic well-being, rebuild confidence, and empower them with practical skills for long-term resilience, creating a lasting positive impact on the community. It provides trauma-informed mental health support, remedial education to bridge academic gaps, and after-school programs to develop life skills and resilience.
