Published purpose

This project aims to help strengthen national financing systems to accelerate inclusive and sustainable development, especially with respect to the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls. Project activities include: (1) delivering tailored technical assistance to 8 countries to design and implement integrated, fiscally coherent, and gender-responsive financing strategies, including operationalizing reforms and integrating digital tools; (2) conducting 4 capacity-building interventions to strengthen institutional ability for inclusive and sustainable financing solutions; (3) developing 8 policy documents and 4 digital enhancements, such as tools for gender-responsive auditing, budgeting, and tax policies; (4) facilitating 2 peer-learning knowledge exchange events for policymakers from 15 countries to share experiences and innovations in implementing Integrated National Financing Frameworks (INFFs); and (5) producing 2 knowledge products showcasing best practices in mainstreaming gender equality and enhancing revenue mobilization through INFFs.
