Published purpose
This project aims to provide professional services, expert-level support and technical and scientific advice and analysis to member States of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the ASEAN Secretariat (ASEC) for the Mitigation of Biological Threats in the ASEAN Region (MBT) Program. Also, it seeks to provide more limited support to African partners in support of the Signature Initiative to Mitigate Biological Threats in Africa (SIMBA).
