Published purpose
This project aims to reduce the threat of stolen or illicitly trafficked nuclear or radiological materials to the Ukrainian and neighbouring populations. This addresses the green border area in the Transnistria region of Ukraine at the border with Moldova. Project activities include: (1) providing surveillance equipment, radiation detection and patrol equipment to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine; and (2) providing logistical support for related operational and maintenance training on the equipment.
