Published purpose

With Canada’s support, Crisis Action convenes stakeholders and builds coalitions to protect civilians in conflict, with a focus on Sudan. Project activities include: (1) increasing access of national civil society organizations and people affected by conflict to networks that advocate for and work on rapid responses to threats to civilians; (2) strengthening capacity of national civil society organizations and people affected by conflict to engage with international actors including the UN, EU and other multilateral actors; (3) enhancing access by policymakers and governments to timely, comprehensive, and relevant information and collective recommendations from a wide range of civil society actors; and (4) increasing knowledge amongst media outlets, general public and relevant target audiences of specific conflicts and threats to civilians, including specific threats to women and girls.
