Published purpose

The objectives of this grant are 1) to support the Rights and Reconciliation Agreement signed by Parks Canada and the Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government, 2) build capacity in the Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government to participate with Parks Canada as co-managers of the Battle of the Restigouche National Historic Site, 3) draw on Mi’gmaq cultural and historical stewardship practices to guide the management, interpretation, and presentation of the Battle of the Restigouche National Historic Site 4) To recognize, honor, and celebrate Mi’gmaq culture and heritage
