Published purpose
The Canada Trust Fund (CTF) provides technical assistance to increase the effectiveness of the operations and management of the African Development Bank as well as the capacity of African countries to meet development objectives. The Fund supports priority areas from the Bank’s Medium-Term Strategy (2008-2012), related to economic growth, good governance, regional economic integration, and private sector development. The Fund also supports greater integration and mainstreaming of environmental protection and gender equality in Bank operations.
