Published purpose

This project will see further development & testing of the Plasmergy system and will start the scale-up design for the indiscriminate conversion of clinical waste and other targeted feedstocks, into low-carbon energy and benign solid residues or commercially viable products. Building on the data and capital assets developed in the Phase 1 project, funded by the PEI Cleantech Research & Innovation Fund, this project will progress the technical and commercial ambitions of Plasmergy PEI, yielding critical operational data and conceptual engineering/design documentation required to underpin fundraising/capital investment for the first 1000tpa commercial plant to be built in phase 3. The project will be delivered across 5 work packages
