Published purpose
This project will further advance Wildfire Robotics’ novel robotic fireline technology to prepare it for commercial use in 2027. The activities will advance the technology through systematic engineering design of critical subsystems. The project focuses on innovative mechanical, electrical, and control system development for key components including electric motive sections, system transportation and deployment, hose payout mechanisms, network remote controls, and advanced sensors and automation.
