Norda Technologies will develop a sovereign, Canadian-designed edge platform converging multi-orbit satellite backhaul, peer-to-peer mesh networking, on-board compute, encrypted transport, and off-grid power autonomy in a single ruggedized, field-deployable appliance for harsh and remote operating environments where terrestrial connectivity is unavailable or unreliable. Zero-touch provisioning enables deployment in minutes by non-specialist personnel. The MVP is validated across critical-infrastructure verticals and establishes a substantially Canadian-controlled supply chain for sovereign edge connectivity, with documented Canadian-substitution roadmap for remaining imported components, generating high-skill Canadian R&D positions and IP.
