Published purpose
Under this Project, the Proponent will conduct a deep dive case study analysis of the greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) impacts of Canadian LNG exports to the Republic of Korea. The Proponent will assess the role of Canadian LNG in displacing Korean coal. The Proponent will also assess the costs and policy considerations of LNG and blue ammonia versus alternatives, particularly nuclear power and renewable power plus batteries.
