Published purpose
This project aims to increase the capacity of the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) personnel stationed along the mountainous Lebanon-Syria border to more effectively fight Daesh along its border with Syria through providing mountain climbing gear and winter clothing. The project seeks to increase troop morale and allow for more alert human observation of the frontier.
