Published purpose
The project supports efforts combating terrorism financing to reduce the vulnerability to transnational threats posed by international terrorism in Laos. Project activities include: (1) analyzing the new 2015 Law on anti-money laundering and counter-financing of terrorism, other national legislation, and international obligations and creating a report; (2) preparing specialized training material and conducting training for prosecutors; and (3) initiating an annual national conference with anti-money laundering and counter-financing of terrorism as a theme.
