Published purpose
This project seeks to improve the livelihoods of smallholder farmers in Guatemala. Certain communities are more vulnerable to food insecurity and climate shocks, specially drought. The objective is for their crops to be abundant, resilient, nutritious, high quality and able to adapt to climate change. Finally, this project enables smallholder farmers to become self-sufficient producers, resilient, able to access formal markets, and equipped to withstand economic shocks.
