Published purpose
This project aims to improve the economic security of women and the most vulnerable or marginalized. It works with local stakeholders (government, private sector and civil society) to support employment and entrepreneurship. It contributes to building local economies of regions impacted by war and supports the economic integration of Internally displaced persons in host communities. Project activities include: (1) distributing livelihood grants to women, the most vulnerable or marginalized, and small-business support; (2) providing training subsidies and Information Technology scholarships for women, youth and internally displaced persons; (3) supporting state employment centres to serve job seekers more effectively; (4) supporting the establishment of Business Advisory Centres to increase entrepreneurship opportunities for women; (5) increasing access to local kindergartens and daycare centres; (6) launching the “Rebuild Ukraine” skills education campaign among high schools, vocational schools, universities or colleges, and youth clubs; and (7) undertaking socio-economic assessment activities to understand current labour market dynamics better.
